Cultural or Biblical?

Too often, those of us who claim to follow Christ want a blessing or peace from God before we decide to step out in faith and obey Him. Following Jesus means we give up the right to censor what God is saying to us even if we are not comfortable with it. So the real question is, are we willing to obey before the blessing?
