We want to be moving our faith forward and advancing God’s purposes in every way we can. In these verses, Paul addresses three specific circumstances that erect barriers to that kind of progress: conflict, crisis, and chaos. In each case, Paul prescribes an antidote, a way to respond to those barriers and break through them so that the gospel can advance.
