The Power of Baptism

Deciding to follow Jesus is a big deal, and it changes everything! And while that decision can happen in a single moment, the implications of that decision are eternal. Acts chapter 2 tells the story of how several thousand people at once all decided they would follow Jesus. It shows us what motivated them as they made that decision. And, very importantly, it shows us what practical, real-world steps they took in order to begin following Jesus well. Their experience provides a model for those of us who are following Jesus more than 2,000 years later. We have much to learn from these first followers of Jesus.
