MARY GERMAIN INT'L MINISTRIES

Worship/Prayer with Action

fanning into Flame the Gift of the Holy Spirit

II Timothy 1:6

Richard and  Rev. Mary "Gerri" Morris, Co-Founders of  MGI Ministries,  serve the Body of Christ by encouraging worship and prayer, with action through mobilizing, educating and networking, with the foundation based on the Word of God, the Holy Bible, with the belief that the Bible is the infallible Word of God.  MGI builds bridges of communication with leadership  in the church, marketplace, education, government and media, speaking the truth in love, realizing that through relationships individuals and groups are brought together to help one another come in the fulfillment of not only their personal destinies, but the destinies of communities, states, nations and countries.

One of the KEY divisions of MGI Ministries, is a focus on children at risk, called LITTLE LAMBS PRODUCTIONS that distribute plush lambs to little ones that help bring emotional healing to children.  For several years, MGI has coordinated an internet data base of prayer warriors that pray for children at risk throughout the world.  As missionaries, MGI has many opportunities to travel extensively to other states within the U. S. as well as to other countries; Japan, London and Israel, ministering the truth of Jesus Christ to children and youth as well as adults.

Hope International University

South Seas Christian Ministry

We began in 1987 for the purpose of bringing the people of the Pacific to a saving relationship with Christ. From the very beginning, Mission Viejo Christian Church has been involved in this ministry by sending teams to the field and helping with the shipping of supplies and needed items for the islands.  After 20 years, MVCC still supports the work of South Seas Christian Ministries by supporting Nofo Eletise in AIM, a division of SSCM, and the work of Dr Alger Fitch.

What does South Seas Christian Ministries do?

Shortly after two devastating hurricanes and a tidal wave had hit the islands, portable sawmills, clothes, food and medical supplies were sent in to Samoa by SSCM.  Many shipping containers have been sent to the Pacific over these years with sports supplies for the youth.  Several times, 40-foot containers of medical supplies were obtained and sent to Samoa.  SSCM has helped to raise over a million dollars to help build a Christian school near Pago Pago. Every year, teams of youth and adults go to the Pacific from Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, California and Hawaii to help in VBS, Youth Sports Camps, Christian Education Seminars, and medical and service projects.     Once a year, a lectureship team, headed by Dr Alger Fitch, is sent to work in the schools and churches of Samoa and American Samoa. Nofo Eletise works with South Pacific college students at three University campus in CA as well as Samoan churches in the area. ALL of this is done in the name of Jesus and for the purpose of spreading His Kingdom.

Hospital Chaplains

The HCMA is a nonsectarian, non-profit faith mission organization that recruits, trains, certifies, places, and oversees Chaplains in healthcare facilities and hospice programs throughout the world. The Healthcare Chaplain, an integral member of the healthcare team, makes daily rounds and is available 24-hours a day to provide pastoral care to patients, family and staff. The Chaplain is available to provide objective crisis intervention and spiritual support. Working with those who are sick, recovering or dying can be very difficult... and very rewarding. Patients/residents, family members and medical workers need someone to turn to for understanding and hope. Steve Willis’ ministry location is Irvine Regional Hospital and Medical Center. Steve is also a chaplain with Orange County Fire Authority.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Child Hope International

Child Hope International was founded in 2001 by Bill and Susette Manassero, missionaries with a heart to reach children around the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The first project of Child Hope International was the Mister Bill Music Ministry. As the music ministry grew they received invitations to share their music in other countries such as Russia, West Africa and Haiti. In these countries they saw the spiritual hunger of children but they also witnessed the physical hunger as well. Before long they were bringing along other items with them on their musical crusades seeking to address the physical as well as the spiritual needs of children. Today, Child Hope International also runs a home, school and job training facility for homeless children near Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. This ambitious project seeks to help some of Haiti's orphans and street children.

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” Matthew 5:14-15

Golden West Christian Church

Christopher LaPel conducts an annual Leadership Training Institute (LTI) for Cambodian church leaders. He travels to Battambang Province. He trains and visits hundreds of pastors and leaders from five provinces in the northwest region. This year on one day, he baptized twenty nine people in the waters of Little’s Pond at a local church. Current project is to build a school called Hope Bible Institute. The great need is for leaders to be taught more of the Word of God.

Two verses of scriptures have helped Christopher LaPel overcome the impossible in his life.

The Great Commission in Cambodia, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them ….teaching them ...Matt. 28:18-20.and The Great Commandment: Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul...and mind. Matthew 22:36-40

Orange County Rescue Mission

“The Orange County Rescue Mission Statement is “To minister the love of Jesus Christ to the Least, the Last, and the Lost of Orange County through the provision of assistance in the areas of guidance, counseling, education, job training, shelter, food, clothing, and health care. We continue to serve people of every background, color, ethnic origin, religion, and age.

This Mission to serve is not just a feeling, but a command of God. “Love your neighbor...Care for the orphans and widows.” By doing this, we are doing what Jesus commanded us to do.   That’s why we’re so interested in proclaiming the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere we go. Real and lasting healing can come only from Him. Hope and purpose begin with the Giver of Life who holds our destiny in His hands.

Manila Bible Seminary

Jeannie Hoffman is president of Manila Bible Seminary. The Seminary is a school dedicated to the task of training students to know the foundation of their faith and gain the skills to share that faith in the local churches  We believe every Christian needs to be prepared to serve no matter what vocation a person might choose. Our purpose is to train preachers and teachers in God's Word and who will go and share what they have learned. Our curriculum centers on what we feel a Christian worker needs to know and be able to do. The Bible is the center of all we are trying to do with other classes either helping in communicating, teaching or studying God's Word.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:35
