Mike Maiolo is the Senior Pastor of Mission Viejo Christian Church.  He had the privilege of growing up in Mission Viejo from the time he was 10 years old.  While Mike was on the fast-track to play professional tennis, he gave his life to Jesus Christ at age 17.  Upon giving his life to Christ, there was a change in his priorities.  Mike felt called to be a pastor and communicate God’s grace to others. He found a loving church home at Mission Viejo Christian Church and attended Pacific Christian College (now Hope International University) also earning his Master’s Degree in Church Growth. He spent 6 ½ years ministering to young people in the islands of Hawaii, and the South Pacific. Following his time in Hawaii, he served for 3 ½ years at a church in the Inland Empire before receiving his call to return to his “home” church at MVCC.  Mike and his wife Laura, have 2 sons.  Mike’s passion for God has been to help people find the greatest relationship in all the earth, a relationship with Jesus Christ.
